Men's teams

Don Quishoot has seven men's teams, each with its own identity. Are you curious about our men's teams? They are all listed below!

Men 1 is the most fanatical hockey team of Don Quishoot. Compared to the other men's teams, hockey comes first in Men 1. We play third division and have been competing with the top teams for years. We train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 8:30 PM, but we always gather earlier for everyone's favorite round of abdominal muscle training and often after training shuttles are run to make the team as fit as possible.

In addition to hockey, we are also present at the rest of the association. For example, on Thursdays after training we can always be found in our favorite pub La Route and on Sundays we always eat in large numbers at Paviljoen for a drink and a small game of beer pong. Furthermore, many gentlemen are also active within the association as coaches or trainers of one of the lower teams in order to improve the hockey of the entire association. All in all, Heren 1 is a fanatical hockey team, but also a fun and present group of friends!

The Joepies, founded in 1993 and playing in the reserve 1st division, promote playing hockey at a high level and experiencing an active student life. Within the lines, the team can be characterized as competitive and persistent, and we always want to get the most out of ourselves. We train intensively twice a week, on Mondays (6:50 PM - 8:30 PM) and Wednesdays (8:10 PM - 10:00 PM), and then show the opponent who is the best every Sunday.

We also believe in “being there is experiencing”. By staying active together outside the lines, we ensure that mutual ties become and remain strong. Every week we go to our favorite pub Café La Route after Wednesday training, we attend the coolest student festivals every year, we have drinks with fraternities and clubs from student cities throughout the Netherlands and we fly to a foreign place every year for our legendary team weekend.

Men 3 - ESHG Men

We are ESHG gentlemen. A team founded from the Eindhoven Student Corps. We train on Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Hey man, nice to have you here. We are men's hockey team Kanniballen! The most active and fun team that Don Quishoot has to offer. As a team, we organize the annual Après-ski party, the nicest team drinks, a cantus, or some of us are trainers for another team, for example. We train every Monday and Wednesday at 8:30 PM, after which we can all be found together at our favorite pub La Route every Wednesday. On Sundays we play fanatically in the reserve second division.

Besides the fact that we always play hockey fanatically, fun outside of hockey is also very important to us! In addition to training and competitions, we do a lot of fun things with the team and we also regularly visit each other during a study break at the university and we also regularly eat together! In short, this group of friends is looking for new company!

We are the Houthakkers, we play reserve 1st class hockey. We train twice a week on Tuesday and Friday. On Tuesdays we train at 6:45 PM and on Fridays we train at 6:30 PM, so that people can go home afterwards or have a drink after training. The training is serious, but off the field we have plenty of fun activities such as: drinks, tournaments, holidays and of course fun (unplanned) evenings out.

As a team we also do a lot together: exercising together, having lunch or, for example, watching football in the evening. But nothing is mandatory, but it is so fun and enjoyable that everyone often attends anyway.

The Woodcutters

We are The Flatsmeisters, men's 6 from Don Quishoot, where conviviality prevails, but where hockey is also played fanatically on the field.

We are a close-knit team that enjoys a good drink and a long night out, but that doesn't make us any less driven on the hockey field. During the matches we give everything and fight until the final whistle. We currently play in the reserve 4th division and are driven to improve our hockey talent. We train every Monday and Thursday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

After the training it is time for relaxation and fun. That's why we often have a drink with the team. In addition, we organize various drinks and activities every year with other Don Quishoot teams and clubs from both inside and outside Eindhoven. This way we get the most out of our time as hockey students.

Hi there! We are the Heren van Flatsoen, founded in 2016 as the first young men's team of Don Quishoot and after the summer break we are a 3rd class men's team.

Last season was one for the books, because we became champions! We are of course extremely motivated to continue this and to treat the seniors equally well. Every Tuesday (6:45 PM - 8:30 PM) and Thursday (8:30 PM - 10:00 PM) we have training, after which we of course drink a well-deserved golden drink, at the SSC café or at La Route! On Sunday we regain strength after the match with a healthy number of liquid sandwiches and because the hunger has not yet completely disappeared, we eat together at the club.

Besides hockey, we are also busy with other important things, especially with beer! We have drinks about twice a month or do other fun things with our team, including an annual team weekend, which can never go normally...
